1977 Ferrari 308 GT-4
First introduced 1973 at the Paris Motor Show, the 308 GT4 was the first Ferrari to feature a mid engined V8 layout, a design that was to become the core of the company’s business for years to come. The GT4 was the only 2+2 Ferrari ever raced with factory support. The car was initially provided with the “Dino” emblem to honor Dino Ferrari, Enzo Ferrari’s son who died in 1956, however by 1977 the emblem of the “Prancing Horse” graced all of Ferrari’s automobiles.
