1981 VW Scirocco
The VW Scirocco was designed as a replacement for the popular VW Karmann Ghia coupe and was first offered in 1974. The first generation was produced until early 1981 when it was replaced by the second generation in March of that year. The Type 2 redesign included greater headroom and improved aerodynamics. Also offered with the type 2 were more than a dozen different trim options including, GT, GTS, Scala and GTX 16V.
